V for Vendetta Questions

  1. Guy Fawkes was one of the members of The Gunpowder Plot of 1605 in which a group of Catholics attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill James I, the King of England, to protest Protestant rule.
  2. For every person V kills, he leaves a rose as a calling.
  3. V really doesn't have any powers, he just goes around and claims he's making the country a better place by killing all these people. All the people that V kills, all have an important part in the government.
  4. The Resistance Movement was suppose to be a non-violent protest, but there were points of the protest where the protest would get out of hand and the police had to step in.
  5. One movement that is happening right now in our society is the Occupy Movement. The Occupy Movement is going on all across the United States, and at points can be very violent even causing some people to die. Another huge movement, which happened way back was the Civil Rights movement which followed World War II, which inspired and propelled forward all of the oppositional and liberation movements of the 1960s and ‘70s.
  6. V has knight armor which he practices his fencing on. He also has a room with a bed, and in that room there are many books from the past.
  7. V's favorite movie is the Count of Monte Christo.
  8. The breakfast with the egg and toast is really simple. You cut a hole into the piece of toast, then you pour the egg into the hole in the toast, and fry it.
  9. The movie is based in future England.
  10. V doesn't really have a sidekick besides Evey.
  11. To me, the best part of the movie was when all of the V faces walked right through the entire army.
  12. V is not like today's society, although if some country's, maybe even the US, don't get their act together, that is what it will be like.
